Mt. Diablo Foothills
Dramatically dyed and inspired by a beautiful photo (courtesy Rob Shea) of the redwood forest in the Mt. Diablo Foothills, this fingering weight yarn knits and crochets up into lovely autumn-toned projects.
Girl Friday Yarn worked with the artists at Mountain Colors to capture the spirit of the Mt. Diablo foothills in their Twizzlefoot yarn, which includes a ply of pure silk that adds a heather which gives a glimmer of light to this colorway.

We attempt to select the best matched skeins for your order, but as this is a hand-dyed product, be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since skeins can vary widely between bulk shipments. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
