Koriburi Shawl in Paris Night and Polar Morn

To make this beautiful shawl, Koriburi by Gabriella Calderini, you need 2 skeins of a main color for the body of the shawl, and 1 skein of a contrasting color for the edging.  It's shown here using Paris Night as the main color and Polar Morn for the edging.   Additionally, the pattern suggests using US 6 (4 mm) straight needles.

About the yarn:

Dos Tierras means Two Lands, reflecting the sources of the two amazing fibers found in this ultra-soft yarn. By spinning together 50% of fine Uruguayan Merino wool with 50% baby alpaca from Peru it creates a DK weight yarn that is as versatile as it is beautiful. And when the good stitch definition and drape of this four ply yarn is combined with amazing kettle-dyed semi-solid and variegated colors you have the perfect palette to help show off your stitch work.

Great for:

Accessories and hand-wash-friendly garments, next-to-skin wear, lace, cables, colorwork, and textured stitches.

We attempt to select the best matched skeins for your order, but as this is a hand-dyed product, be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since skeins can vary widely between bulk shipments.  To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
